I met the beautiful Lynette some 3 years ago, I came across her through a very dear friend who was seeing the lovely Lynette, so I thought I needed to connect with her as I had just lost a very dear friend and his death was very unexpected. I was devastated, as he had not returned my call the night he died and I didn’t get the chance to say goodbye. I was scared, as I had not done anything like this before.
I went to see Lynette and my first encounter with her was one of calm, love, and caring which made me feel very comfortable for the first time. After a short time of the process, my beautiful friend came through and this took my breath away, I couldn’t believe I was talking to him through Lynette. Everything Lynette was telling me was blowing me away, it was exactly him, and as you can imagine it was an emotional hour and a half with lots of tears, laughter, and crying but she just made the experience breathtaking for me put my heart at ease as I got to ask him many questions as many things needed to be said on both sides. This made it all worthwhile as the love and friendship we had in life we still have in the afterlife. Lynette made that possible for us and three years on I still go to see her as I think she is an incredible woman she understands life more than people realise and I love and adore her.

Saving Grace
I always longed to be an empowered individual. The type of person who walks the talk has the endurance to see things through and does it with a sense of ease and gracefulness. You know those people … the ones who stand so steady that their integrity can be sensed as they talk to you. They’re animated, fully alive and you feel their subtle stamina. Ultimately they are the people who are living the old adage ‘know you.’
When I met Lynette I was the polar opposite of the character described above. Relationships always managed to become war zones; Food and other forms of addictions were my trusted friends. I spent my nights in a hopeful state of faith and fantasy, visualising the life achievements I will one day make however I spent my days making poor choices. I walked with confidence and esteem for a couple of months and the next I could hardly bear weight literally. I could scream and shout at partners and parents for everything but could not utter a word of truth to a friend or colleague for anything. I found myself living in a state of awe for life, immersed in love and gratitude. I also found myself in the bed of a psychiatric hospital succumbing to the very same life.
Suffice it is to say that I was literally sick and tired of me. I walked away from therapy with a diagnosis that I refused to own. I’m a medical doctor, so believe me when I say that it was not in disbelief or denial of evidence-based psychology that stirred up resistance in me but rather that a diagnosis was not enough … this can’t be it … there must be more to the story of me.
And then I met Lynette Gardiner and the trajectory of my life changed. Her work was simple but profound. Armoured with wisdom and tireless kindness she reintroduced me to myself. Years of anguish, anger, and deep hurt were tranquillised subtly and naturally.
I now walk like the others I once so admired and what a revelation it was to learn those strong virtuous qualities that are dormant within me.

I sleep deeper, laugh truly, and cry shamelessly, I love my job, and have thriving relationships that I honour. I’m no longer scared.
